Privacy notice

What we collect

Only what you type into a form, plus the ordinary technical records a web server keeps.

• Enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, organisation, the capability you selected and your message.
• Job application: your name, email address, telephone number, any link you supply, your covering text and the CV file you attach.
• Briefing sign-up: your email address only.
• Server logs: IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser identification string. These are produced automatically by the hosting and are kept for a short period for security and diagnosis.

What we do not do

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not use third party analytics that profile you across other websites, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing. The site sets one cookie, a session cookie, which exists so that forms can be protected against cross-site request forgery. It carries no personal data and it expires when you close the browser.

Why we hold it

To answer you. An enquiry is read by an engineer so that we can reply and, where appropriate, propose a scoping call. An application is read so that we can assess it and come back to you. A briefing address is used only to send the briefing.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: up to twenty four months from the last contact, then deleted.
• Applications and CVs: twelve months from submission unless you ask us to keep them longer so that we can consider you for future roles.
• Briefing addresses: until you unsubscribe. Every message carries an unsubscribe link.
• Server logs: as configured by the hosting provider, typically a few weeks.

Who can see it

Staff of Akili Smart Solutions Limited who need it in order to respond, and our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf. Where a client engagement requires us to process personal data belonging to that client, we do so under their instruction and under a written agreement, and this notice does not apply to that processing.

Your rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@assl.co.tz and we will act within thirty days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will not affect an application or an enquiry you have with us.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and rate limited, uploaded CVs are stored outside the publicly browsable part of the site and renamed on arrival, and administrative access is restricted to named accounts with individual passwords.

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. The current version is dated October 2026.
