What usually goes wrong

The question is where to put fertiliser, water and machinery this season, and the answer arrives either too late or from a model trained on fields two thousand kilometres away. Yields are estimated by walking, and the estimate is a season old by the time it reaches anybody who can act on it.

Every engagement starts by writing that paragraph for your organisation specifically, before any technology is named. If it cannot be written, there is no brief yet, and we will say so.

How the work runs

What we would build

Four things this sector commissions.

Assembled from the registered capability lines below. Which of them applies is a scoping conversation, not a brochure.

Crop and soil analytics built on local ground truthClassification and condition models validated against fields here, with the validation set documented, because an imported model that was never checked locally is a guess with a confidence interval.
Yield forecasting through the seasonSatellite and weather series combined into an estimate that updates, with the error band stated rather than hidden.
Irrigation and input controlSensors, schedules and automation sized for the power and connectivity the farm actually has.
Traceability from field to buyerRecord systems that follow a consignment, meet the buyer's evidence requirements, and survive a patchy signal.

If one of those is the thing you are trying to fix, a scoping call is the next step, not a proposal document.

The registered lines

Capability lines this sector commissions.

Each line carries its registered scope in full, word for word from the memorandum, on its own page.

Working in this sector? Tell us what you are trying to decide and on what evidence.

Next step

Tell us the decision that is going wrong.

Not the technology you think you need. The decision, who makes it, and on what evidence. We will tell you plainly whether there is a system in it.
