What usually goes wrong

A licence is held, the geology is partly known, and the decision is where to spend the next drilling budget. The evidence sits in survey reports, assay spreadsheets, decades of core logs and satellite coverage nobody has fused, so the decision gets made on the parts somebody can remember.
